I am a former professional from the financial services industry and I worked 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. for many years. I took a break from that world when I had my two sons, now toddlers. I decided to open Whiskers and Paws Pet Services because I love animals and because I wanted a more flexible work schedule.
I have had pets in my home from my earliest memories including cats, dogs, various birds, rabbits, aquarium fish, lizards and a gerbil. I currently share my home with three cats: Jackson, Allie & Violet.

Jackson - Jackson is the old man of the group at approximately 11 years old. He is the most loving and gentle cat that I have ever met. Jackson loves attention and will pose for you to get it. In other words, he will flop on the floor and contort his body in the cutest positions until you to drop down and give him a rub. |

Allie - Allie is 10 years old and is the queen of the house. Although her physique is a little round, she shows the least interest in food and is the only one that won't try to mooch from your plate. Two of her favorite things are being scratched behind her ears and sunning on our deck. |

Violet - Violet, age 1, is the teenager of the house. She is full of energy and can occasionally be a little pesky. Our older cats tolerate our boys but usually avoid interacting with them. We adopted Violet from Paws in order to have a companion/playmate for the boys. Violet has been great with the boys, rubbing up against them and playing feather stick with them. |
